Pixelpoint Pos Crack
Thank you for using PixelPoint POS. This guide is intended for installers setting up PixelPoint POS on a point-of-sale system. It presumes that you have a basic knowledge of Windows® operating systems, TCP/IP networking and the fundamentals of a restaurant point-of-sale system.
Hey fellow technibblers, I'm in need of some assistance. I have a restaurant which runs Pixelpoint POS 2000.97.86.2 (I believe thats the right version number) and it is having trouble printing tickets and routing the orders to the right printers.
The POS printers are connected using serial cables to com ports on the POS stations. The printers are often far away from there stations and use serial to Cat5 to reach them.
The problem is that the printer for the chef prints out corrupted text and there is another that is used for salad and sushi that doesn't print at all. I've done the following: 1. Swapped printers, cat5, and adapters and swapped Com ports at each location with no avail.
Double checked routes for the printer in Pixelpoint and all is pointing where they should go. Redirecting orders to other printers work fine.
At this point, I'm at a loss as what to do next. I've tried researching for this software, but all troubleshooting guides are extremely vague or are things that I've tried before. If you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. I do have the right drivers. Reinstalling them is another problem.
I can't see anywhere in the software to remove the old and put the new back in. You can set-up new printers using print codes, but I wouldn't have a clue where to find print codes for these printers. Everything is handled within the software: 1.
Printer Drivers 2. Routing for the different orders 3. 100 free download movies mp4 arena. Network Administration 4. Printer assignments So the problem is finding out where in the software all this stuff happens. I've been looking and looking and can't find anything that allows me to get to the 'guts' of the system and take a look.
I appreciate your reply. Click to expand. They won't help you. I have a client with PixelPoint.
Everything is done through vendors, and they won't support you because the vendors make money off of supporting them. Chances are (because I've had to do this) you will need to reinstall the drivers or reinstall the software on the client machine (not the server) If your pixel rep did the same as mine did, you'll have a bunch of pixelPOS folders in the C: drive. Copy them all onto an external, and make sure you have a setup file in there. You should be able to use that to reinstall the client machine.
The printer Drivers just run off the windows printers, so uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers is the same as any windows machine. Just make sure you shut down pixelpoint before reinstalling the drivers, and reboot the machine to startup the pixel software again.
The vendor will have the setup software for the server, and they won't give it up.
