Smith And Wesson Model 3000 Shotgun Manual Downloads
I was digging through some stuff today and stumbled on an owners manual and instruction manual from a gun that I haven't had since the 80's. What a piece of crap it was, but I still have the manuals.
This S&W is in excellent condition. It is the model 3000 pump action 12ga shotgun. It features a blued finish and very nice wood furniture. It still has the original rubber recoil pad with the S&W logo. Hello Everyone. I would appreciate any leads on where I may download a manual or for that matter any other information about the Model 1000 that I may be able to get my hands on.
I'm glad to see this gun long gone, it was garbage and never worked worth a crap and nobody could ever figure it out. It was one of those guns that just seemed to have a mind of its own. One day, it would cycle fine, the next day it would be a single shot.
The only auto that I've ever owned that was worse was my Winchester 1400 and I don't even want to go there. Anyway, if someone wants this, just Email my website and it's yours. I'm happy to finally rid myself once and for all of any memories of this gun.
OK, I received your PM and it will be in the morning's mail. The 1400 was without a doubt the most pathetic firearm I've ever owned. I got totally screwed by some old guy THAT KNEW it didn't work and when I say it didn't work, that would be an understatement. Later, I learned that the guy that sold it to me yucked it up with his buddies on how he 'dumped that POS on some greenhorn'. I just didn't know any better. I figured with a name like Winchester, it just had to be good. The Smith was pretty much the same story, but I got it new, so had nobody to blame but myself.
I traded that piece of crap in for an 1100 which I still have to this day.
Smith & Wesson made the model 1000 shougun from 1982 through 1985 and then dropped all manufacture of their long arms. They sold off the model 1000 spare parts and the tooling to a guy out in Comanche Texas. His name is Frank smith. He still has some parts and is probably the only contactable expert on these firearms left. Voltes v complete episode torrent download. Here is the link to his website. Oh yeah, that rubber shock absorber will disappeaar and turn to gunk in the gas piston sleeve over a few years as they were not made to withstand the lubricatnt of the day. DO NOT FIRE THIS GUN if that rubber (o'ring) shock absorber has failed.

The firearm will be ruined and possibly your face. I have a Model 1000 12 gauge in Skeet Grade that I bought brand new in late 1982 and it still looks like brand new today. Jim Lee Savannah, Georgia. S/W 1000 auto shotgun buffer The 1000 is a great shotgun, once the tube and piston operation is understood. During cleaning and dis-assembly, I did pull out the black goop. My tube was never damaged by the piston retaining pin slapping against the rear of the tube slots.
So in order,I 1. Freed the frozen spring washer by turning it while pushing down with a large screwdriver, then aligning the slots for re-installation.
2.re-installed the flat washer, same as tube ID. Replaced the goop with a garden washer that was thick enough to insure that it acted as a buffer preventing the piston pin from slamming against the rearward portion of the tube slot. Also the ring O.D.
Must be a tight fit. Lubed and installed the piston(pin hole rearward,it's outer-ring and gas end cap. Install barrel, forestock and endcap. The only thing I haven't figured was how to remove the tube pin to change the capacity!:feedback. The 1000 is a great shotgun, once the tube and piston operation is understood.
